The 12th of December, right before the Christmas holidays, was a new brilliant event by Arrivia. 2014’s one of the hit movies, “The Boss Wants a Happy Ending” has been screened in Mespil Hotel in the city center. The screening has been followed by a cocktail with prosecco, home-made treats, tea and coffee.

 

 

“The Boss Wants a Happy Ending”, winner of 2 international awards in Colorado and Mexico film festivals, had a nıce surprise at the beginning. The movie director had a special message to the audience in Dublin screening.

 

 

“Movies and Cookies” event has been enjoyed by more than 30 attendees from 9 different nationalities. We look forward to host you in our next event!

 

 

 

 

Good news again from events.arrivia! As the approaching summer brings longer days and warmer days – well, just slightly – we organized the second workshop of the year. Yes, it has been a success like the first one 🙂

“Spring Make-up Workshop” was focused on daily make-up for ladies awaiting for the spring. This workshop was again led by the professional make-up artist Polina Perminova, who is one of the best in her area as a professional. She has been presenting the trends and fundamentals of daily make-up, then the attendees will be applying the make-up on their own and finally this will be checked by the instructor.

The venue was the same as the previous one, i.e. The Peacock Green cafe at the end of Merrion Road, near the Tara Towers Hotel at the entrance of the Elmpark Business Campus. The lovely upstairs room was reserved for us, and optional tea or coffee and desserts were served.

 

Arrivia Events presents the St. Valentine’s day make-up workshop for ladies. Theevent has been held in a special function room in one of the most lovely coffee shops of Dublin, located at the end of Merrion Road near Tara Towers Hotel.

The event ran for 2 hours. Instructor first gave a presentation about the make up  products. Then started the applied stage of the workshop where the attendees applied their own make-up. The last stage was the retouche by Polina. She commented on how the make-up of each attendee was, and she corrected for a better look.

 

 

 

It has been a very enjoyable and useful workshop. All attendees expressed their satisfaction. The location and venue was very suitable for such a gathering.

The theme of this gathering was “call to play”. It has been a fabulous family event with a total attendance of 25-ish kids and parents. The event took place in the Bewley’s Hotel (today’s Clayton). The function room was carpet floored and cushions were used for the safety of the kids.

 

 

While the kids enjoyed drawing, traditional games and board games according to their ages, the parents were served hot and cold soft drinks. A 10-mins presentation were made for kids to attract their attention to a common point, which they have discussed about for the following 10 minutes.

 

 

The theme of the event was “while the summer is yet there”. More than 10 families with kids have been gathered. There were plenty of amusements and games for the kids. Kids have been playing while the parents enjoyed their soft drinks together.

The venue was Bewley’s Hotel (today’s Clayton Hotel), one of the most decent places for such a gathering. Parking space was available for the guests as car access is important to families. With all the presented material and tabletop games it has been a memorable day for all the attendees.
